A classic variation on the Stratocaster equation appears on this Player II Series model. Beginning at its most basic with a classic alder body, this Strat plays with solid resonance and sound. Working as a sort of sonic palette from which that classic Stratocaster tonality can be played, this body is outfitted for exciting musicality and easy mobility. This model’s Modern “C”-shaped maple neck is matched with a maple fingerboard measuring with a radius of 9.5”. Twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets line the board for quick fretting and comfortable playing across the full the 25.5” scale length. The sonic engine of this Stratocaster is formed from a pair of two Player Series Alnico 5 Strat Single-Coil pickups in the neck and middle positions and a Player Series Alnico 2 humbucker in the bridge position.
