Description
This Fender Strat Partscaster is in very good condition. There are signs of general use, including body and neck abrasions. There is slight wear at first and second frets.
This guitar features various Fender Japan and Fender Mexico components. It is predominantly comprised of Fender ST-62 parts. The ST-62 was a Japanese production of the American Vintage '62 Strat of the time. Many players value the playability of the Japanese vintage reissues as good - if not better - than the American production line or even some Custom Shops. ST-62 parts on this guitar are its neck, tuners, neck and middle pickups, and electronics. Its pickguard was swapped for that of one to house a bridge humbucker - in this case, an EVH Frankenstein. The body comes from a Fender MIM Classic Player '60s Strat. If you're a player looking for versatility or a benchmark for a further hot-rodded Strat, this Fender grab bag could be your next addition. Not to mention, this neck is incredibly comfortable and plays for days, in some ways making the shallow radius hard to notice or mind.
