2023 Fender Vintera II ‘60s Jazz Bass Guitar, Rosewood Fingerboard, Fiesta Red

The Fender Vintera II '60s Jazz Bass is a furthering example of the timeless tradition of the Fender Jazz Bass. Heard on countless pop, rock, funk, and R&B recordings since the 1960s, the Fender Jazz Bass - along with the Precision bass - are quite nearly synonymous with electric bass itself.

This, the Vintera II '60s Jazz Bass in Fiesta Red, captures the spirit of early Fender and puts it in a modern production run of the highest standards in Fender's Ensenada, Mexico facility. It's look is timeless, with a striking Fiesta Red finish and 3-ply Mint Green pickguard with tinted maple head cap.

Key features of the Vintera II '60s Jazz Bass are, as you would expect, iconic vintage-style Fender. Fundamental features include an Alder body with Gloss Polyester finish, Maple neck with a comfortable Early '60s "C" profile and 7.25" radius Slab Rosewood fingerboard. The Vintera II '60s Jazz Bass features vintage-style hardware appointments throughout in the bridge assembly and string tree style and placement.

A pair of Fender Vintage Style '60s Single Coil Jazz Bass pickups, controlled by individual volumes and a master tone, deliver the classic sound of the Fender Jazz Bass.

There's no going wrong with a J, and the Fender Vintera II '60s Jazz Bass is an excellent choice for the fan of vintage Fender.
