The Gibson Les Paul Classic is a timeless masterpiece paying homage to the iconic Les Paul model packed with upgrades for the present-day. Part of Gibson’s modern collection of guitars, this instrument combines exceptional craftsmanship with a meticulous attention to detail that faithfully preserves the revered, Les Paul tone and style.
The body is constructed from rich mahogany, revered for its resonance and the maple top, partnered with Gibson's 9-hole weight relief system, ensure a comfortable playing experience without sacrificing the guitar’s rich sustain.
The SlimTaper mahogany neck offers smooth playability along the rosewood fingerboard and elegant acrylic trapezoid inlays. The Les Paul Classic is equipped with Grover Rotomatic tuning machines with kidney buttons for exceptional tuning stability. The ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and aluminum stop bar tailpiece, both finished in nickel, provide exceptional intonation and sustain for.
Powerful and versatile, the Les Paul Classic is equipped with a stylish duo of uncovered zebra '60s Burstbucker pickups. Greater tonal possibilities await with the guitar's 4-gold top hat control knobs, each featuring powerful push-pull functions. Engage the coil-tapping function on either volume pot to switch between single-coil and humbucking operation for either pick-up. The tone knobs enable either a pick-up phase reversal or pure bypass mode.
