This large, kingly Original Collection model takes on a number of modern upgrades and classic Gibson design tenets. Totally impressive visually, audibly, and tangibly, the SJ-200 Original HiFi stands tall over its domain.

In the Gibson Original series, the SJ-200 gets treated to musically impressive upgrades and features alongside tried-and-true Gibson tenets. Striking features move throughout this Original series model with innovations found everywhere. Everything here begins with a Super Jumbo-sized SJ-200 body brought together from spruce and maple. Quality flame maple back and sides line up with a Sitka spruce top for a big, bright, and resonant Super Jumbo body. These tonewoods inject vivacious character throughout the instrument, only bolstered by traditional hand-scalloped X-Bracing. Multi-ply top binding makes for a neat geometric accent along the edges.

Extending out, this Super Jumbo features a two-piece maple neck in a Rounded profile. Moving smoothly from lower to higher registers, this neck makes playability seamless. A rosewood fingerboard matches with this Rounded neck lined with twenty Standard frets and Mother of Pearl Graduated Crown inlays. On the fingertips and in the palm, this SJ-200 is a dream in every way.

Backing everything up here, the SJ-200 Original features a lineup of quality hardware specifications. A rosewood SJ-200 Four Bar Moustache bridge lands with a bone saddle for an ornate and sturdy element. Toward the headstock, a bone nut and gold Gotoh Keystone tuning machines offer smooth stringing experiences and solid intonation. The SJ-200's tones are seamlessly translated to the stage through exclusive Baggs HiFi DNA preamp and pickup electronics while an included hardshell case moves it from stage to stage easily.
