The MPA-149 is a compact, in-line active mic preamp that delivers +26dB of clean gain to low-output dynamic or passive ribbon microphones. Its discrete Class-A design and selected FET circuitry ensure low-noise performance, making it an ideal solution for improving signal clarity without introducing unwanted hiss from external preamps or interfaces.
Perfect for podcasters, streamers, live performers, and presenters, the MPA-149 runs on 48V phantom power and is easy to integrate—just place it between your mic and mixer, interface, or console. Built in a durable metal housing, it offers consistent, transparent gain without passing phantom power to your mic, making it safe for use with passive designs.
