Crafted for precision across a range of styles, the Ibanez SML721 is part of the brand’s Axe Design Lab series and features a multi-scale design built into the iconic S body shape. This 6-string electric guitar pairs a Nyatoh body with a 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck, delivering a construction tailored for stability and smooth transitions between registers. The sleek Wizard neck profile supports technical play, while the 24-fret Rosewood fingerboard with a 400mm radius and step offset dot inlays adds a streamlined visual and tactile element.

The SML721 utilizes a 25.5"–25" multi-scale length configuration, maintaining natural string tension across the board. Q58 ceramic humbuckers are mounted in both bridge and neck positions and are voiced for clarity, balance, and articulation. The electronics include a dyna-MIX10 switching system with an Alter switch and a standard 5-way selector, enabling ten distinct tonal configurations from a dual-humbucker setup. A single volume and tone knob provide straightforward control.
