This hand-wired, limited edition release is made possible through Ibanez testing and analyzing multiple prototypes to achieve the perfect balance of transparency and mid-range focused tone. At the core of the overdrive, the JRC NJM4558 op-amp was selected to deliver the Tube Screamer's signature sound. The classic has also received a few component upgrades along the way like Japanese MOGAMI OFC cables, custom designed black alumite knobs, and a new internal boost, adding +6dB of clarity and headroom.
