The Martin 00-18 is a hallmark of rich history and meticulous craftsmanship, with its roots planted in the 1890s. As a representative of Martin's Style 18 line, the model exhibits the quintessential blend of a spruce top with mahogany back and sides, a combination long acknowledged in the acoustic guitar sphere.

The spruce top is robust, responding well across the entire dynamic spectrum, while the mahogany back and sides add a layer of warmth, complementing the top's character. Central to the guitar's voice is the scalloped spruce X-bracing, a fundamental component that directly influences resonance and projection.

Characterized by a smaller, comfortable 00 body shape, this Martin 00-18 delivers a balanced tonal output. The select hardwood neck, adopting a modified low oval profile with a high-performance taper, seamlessly melds with the 20-fret ebony fingerboard adorned with '18 Old Style' abalone inlays—a nod to Martin's heritage.

The nickel open gear tuning machines coupled with a bone nut make for smooth tuning and excellent intonation. The ebony modern belly bridge, designed with a compensated drop-in bone saddle, forms a critical junction between the guitar's body and its strings. It's worth noting that the 00-18 model does not come equipped with electronics.

Rounding out the presentation is a natural gloss body finish and satin neck finish, accentuating the instrument's raw beauty. Each 00-18 model is delivered with a protective Martin hardshell case.
