The Martin Custom Shop 0-18 answers the call from devoted Martin players who can't get enough of their compact 0-style. With all the artistry the Custom Shop is known for, this 0-18 delivers on every level. Everything here begins with a 0-14 Fret style body brought together from an Adirondack spruce top and genuine mahogany back and sides. The concert-shaped body slips easily under the arm in a comfortable, couch-ready while its quality tonewoods produce an elevated take on the classic Martin spruce and mahogany body wood combo. Within, this 0-18 is lined with Martin's Golden Era scalloped braces. Scalloped ¼" Adirondack spruce braces align in an X-Brace pattern to enhance projection and sustain.

Here, a genuine mahogany neck joins with dovetail neck joint assembly. Taking a Golden Era Modified Low Oval profile with a High Performance taper, this neck moves easily in the palm for quick trips from lower to higher registers. Abalone Old Style 18 fingerboard inlays lay out across a dark ebony fingerboard with twenty frets.

Backing up its playability, this Custom Shop creation builds out with a number of sturdy hardware specifications. Toward the headstock, nickel open gear tuning machines and a bone nut offer solid intonation and smooth stringing. An ebony bridge in a Golden Era Modern Belly shape with a drop-in bone saddle land at the opposite end of the 24.9" scale length for a solid transfer string-to-body. Aesthetically, the Custom Shop shows off with great Martin appointments including a multi-stripe top inlay, an Old Style 18 multi-stripe rosette, faux tortoise binding, and a Martin Aging Toner gloss lacquer finish.
