Martin D-45 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar
Without question, one of the most luxurious American made acoustic guitars is the Martin D-45. This guitar flagships what Martin has to offer in "America's Guitar" - from premium wood selection to hand inlaid abalone dressing this guitar to the nines. The D-45 is a member of the Standard series. All Standard Series Martin acoustics feature a new High-Performance Taper neck profile and aging toner tops. The Martin D-45 dreadnought acoustic guitar features forward shifted scalloped X-bracing – which means the brace pattern is shifted closer to the neck and provides a greater bass response.
The Martin D-45 features a Sitka Spruce top over Indian Rosewood back and sides, full Abalone complement – full body binding, rosette, inlays – and Martin's block inlay peghead laminate. Unlike other models in the Standard series, the D-45 has a gloss lacquer mahogany neck, as opposed to having a satin finish. It sounds as amazing as it looks, with a unique crispness and body unlike any other dreadnought acoustic.
