A Martin guitar built for performance, we have the Martin X Series D-X2E Brazilian Rosewood. Made to play and sound excellent doing so, the Martin D-X2E offers players the iconic dreadnought shape, size, and sound at an affordable price point thanks to high quality, durable craftsmanship.

The dreadnought gets its shape from a satin spruce top paired with a high pressure laminate Brazilian rosewood back/sides - delivering a booming sound with tight low end and clear highs. Its body is sonically enforced with scalloped x-bracing. Completed with a faux tortoise pickguard and single ring rosette, the D-X2E looks sharp. It's select hardwood neck is glued into the body in a mortise and tenon neck joint design. Carved to a performing artist high-performance taper profile, the neck is a breeze to play. Topped by a select hardwood fingerboard and 20 frets, the dreadnought offers exceptional playability. Loaded inside the body, Martin's E-1 electronics system provides seamless plug and play connectivity with the inclusion of a built in tuner, volume, tone, and phase controls.

A set of Martin Authentic Acoustic Lifespan 2.0 strings are loaded in the guitars select hardwood bridge, rest on the 16-inch radius saddle, and are strung to pitch with the satin chrome closed gear tuning machines. The Martin paddle shaped headstock sports the script ink logo on the headplate – a Martin is a Martin after all. Packed in a waterproof softshell case, the Martin D-X2E is ready to see years of play.
