The Mesa Boogie Mark Five 35 features a classic lineup of Mesa features to stand the test of time. This begins with Mesa's classic tube design that features six Mesa 12AX7 preamp tubes and four Mesa EL84 power tubes. Altogether, this suite of Mesa tubes summons enormous sonic power to cut through a mix and make yourself heard. This mighty tube power is funneled through Mesa's Dyna-Watt technology with its Multi-Watt Channel Assignable power array architecture. Through this design, the Mark Five 35 is boosted with much higher headroom, power, and punch through thirty-five watts. Two additional power options – twenty-five and ten watts – offer added takes on the Mark Five's tonal palette with routes for looser responses and heightened expression.

Onboard, the Mark Five 35's two-channel design enables an expansive lesson in Mesa tone history. As the Mark Five 35 follows in its predecessor's footsteps, the Mark Five, it carries with its two channels an original Channel 1 tonal structure and a Channel 2 recreation of Mesa's Mark II-C+ and Mark IV structures. These two channels allow for exceptional exploration into classic Mesa Boogie sounds or ventures into new territory as you sculpt sounds through a five-band graphic EQ and independent channel-shaping tone, Presence, and Gain controls.

This Mark Five 35 goes above and beyond with a number of elements to elevate its experience even higher. For one, this Mesa is equipped with an onboard CabClone D.I. that comes with three classic "cabinet simulated" Voicing modes when routing direct out. For another, this head features a built-in all-tube spring reverb that adds in that bit of splash and nuance to its beefy tube tones. This Mesa outputs eight or four ohms with one eight-ohm output and two four-ohm outputs and comes with an included four-button footswitch and slipcover.
