Description
The MESA EL-34 STR 447 is a premium-grade EL-34 tube designed to deliver the bold, assertive character associated with classic British amplifier tones. It excels in gain-heavy applications, offering the kind of punch and articulation favored in hard rock, metal, and alternative genres.
Tonally, the STR 447 produces a tight and responsive low end, harmonically rich midrange distortion, and a crisp top end that cuts with clarity. Built to meet modern reliability standards while maintaining the tonal integrity of NOS-style EL-34s, this tube delivers aggressive dynamics and vintage-inspired saturation that responds well to both rhythm and lead work.
