Description
The Promark Classic Forward 5A Lacquered FireGrain drumsticks take the widely favored 5A profile and reinforce it using a specialized heat-treatment process designed to enhance longevity without compromising feel. Through controlled flame tempering, each pair of FireGrain sticks gains additional resilience while maintaining the weight, balance, and response players expect from hickory. This isn't a coating or overlay—it’s a physical transformation of the wood fibers, providing increased structural integrity in a naturally aesthetic finish.
Designed with a forward-weighted balance, these sticks are engineered for players who need speed and articulation without the need to overwork their grip. The classic oval-shaped wood tip delivers a rounded, warm tone on cymbals and heads alike, making them a reliable choice for a range of musical settings—from rock kits to jazz setups to practice pad routines.
Every pair is matched using Promark’s proprietary ProMatch process, which ensures pitch and weight consistency across pairs for dependable feel and tone. Finished in a thin layer of lacquer, the FireGrain sticks offer a subtle gloss and grip without becoming sticky. As with all Promark drumsticks, these are designed and manufactured in the United States, underscoring the company’s commitment to quality control and precision crafting.
