2024 PRS S2 Standard 24 Electric Guitar, Mccarty Tobacco Sunburst

As a lean, mean and all-around quality electric guitar, the PRS S2 Standard 24 is part of a lengthy legacy of iconic PRS guitars. Solid and striking, this PRS staple delivers on many, many levels.

This iconic PRS doublecut model starts simply with a solid mahogany body. Crafted with an asymmetric beveled top carve, this sleek and refined double-cutaway shape fits easily into the arms of any player. The mahogany is matched with a set, scarfed mahogany neck in a PRS Pattern Thin shape. This construction gives the entirety of the instrument stability and sustain without sacrificing handling and mobility by way of reasonable weight. When PRS’s mahogany neck meets with a rosewood fingerboard and its twenty-four frets, it’s proverbial poetry in motion for players to make quick trips from higher to lower registers.

Loaded into this body are two PRS 58/15 LT humbucking pickups. These American-made PRS specialties produce a bold and refined tone with clear highs to reach and strong mids to roll in. Mixing such natural PRS tonality with your favorite pedals is an attraction worth checking out every time this guitar is plugged in and played.

Touching down on this S2 Standard 24 is an assortment of hardware appointments to truly tie the instrument together. Among these appointments is a PRS patented tremolo bridge that inspires all the great pitch-bending that anyone is sure to love. Ensuring the tonal stability and fidelity that can typically be lost in vibrato bends, PRS’s patented design retains tuning accuracy alongside its low-mass locking tuners. Altogether making for a hardware setup that works in tandem with tonewood selection, the S2 Standard 24 is a solid guitar for any player to enjoy.

Designed with distinct modern sensibility, the PRS S2 Standard 24 lands as an instrument for every playing scenario and tonal venture.
