Description
The PRS SE Swamp Ash Special is here to deliver all the swampy riffs you can cook up. Crafted from a swamp ash body and bolt-on maple neck, the guitar offers a unique sound full of tight-low end, bright but mellow high-end, and a twangy element – a versatile guitar, for sure. The body sports a Iri Blue finish, nickel hardware, and white plastics. Its maple neck is craved to a wide thin profile and is crowned with 22 standard frets.
For its sonic voice, a set of PRS 85/15 "S" humbucking pickups are located in the neck and bridge positions, while a PRS-Designed AS-01 single-coil resides in the middle position. This versatile 3-pickup layout combined with the push/pull tone control and 5-way pickup selector switch offer up to 10 different sounds.
A set of PRS 9-42 guage strings are loaded through the PRS Patented Tremolo bridge, rest in the slotted nut slots, and are tuned to pitch with the PRS Designed Tuners with Wing Buttons. The SE Swamp Ash Special comes complete with its PRS gig bag – great for safe keeping at home or on the road.
