The PRS Silver Sky represents the culmination of a dynamic partnership between John Mayer and PRS, following a meticulous two-year design process that blends vintage charm with modern performance. This guitar captures the spirit of instruments from 1963 and 1964, crafted with PRS's renowned attention to quality.

Made from alder and featuring the classic "S-Style" shape, the Silver Sky presents a timeless design. Its maple neck, secured with four bolts, showcases the PRS 635JM neck shape and a rosewood fingerboard—Mayer approved for superior playability. The fingerboard includes a 7.25” radius, 22 frets with PRS's iconic Small Bird inlays, and a 25.5" scale length.

The core of the Silver Sky's sound lies in the 635JM single-coil pickups, which deliver rich, full tones with a musical high end free of harshness. The guitar features a 5-way blade pickup switch, along with one volume and two tone controls, providing a wide range of tonal options. The PRS Steel Tremolo, equipped with Gen III knife-edge screws, ensures precise pitch modulation.

Each Silver Sky is fitted with a bone nut, vintage-style locking tuners, and a PRS Double-Acting truss rod for easy adjustments. The molded metal jack plate ensures reliable cable connections. Finished in a sophisticated Moc Sand satin and accompanied by a gig bag for secure transport, the Silver Sky is both elegant and practical.
