PRS Tekton SVN 7-String Electric Guitar, Ebony Fingerboard, Fuchsia Aura

For players looking to break the bounds of playability (in pretty much every way including number of strings), the PRS Tekton SVN 7-String is modern musical power incarnate. This Tekton-series PRS, throwing it over to the ancient Greek word for artisan or builder, refers to the enormous amount of artistry PRS brings to the table and what they expect players to do. This player-forward model streamlines an enormous amount of musical power for a hard-hitting, long-scale, seven-string beast.

The PRS Tekton SVN homes in on what modern guitarists crave in their extended-scale, seven-string models. Everything here starts with a double-cutaway mahogany body with a figured mango top. The body's Shallow Violin top-carved form makes for a sleek and speedy feel under the arm for supreme comfort in playing and a standout look onstage with a high-gloss nitrocellulose finish. Reaching out, this Tekton brings on a bolt-on maple neck in a slim Modern "D" SVN profile with a satin finish. Equally sleek on the fingers, a wider ebony fingerboard introduces twenty-four PRS Jumbo stainless steel frets for a great balance of speed and articulation.

For a formidable sonic profile, this Tekton loads in two PRS Stylus SVN humbuckers. These humbuckers, fashioned for a flatter response (though not truly flat) with clarity and aggression, make for powerful tools to sculpt a signal. This tonal palette is all the more versatile with the guitar's push/pull tone control that offers coil-split single-coil tones on-the-fly. A PRS Hardtail seven-string bridge lands at the base of the Tekton's 26.5" scale length for a sturdy connection and transfer of motion. At the scale's opposite end, PRS Phase III locking tuners ground strings at the iconic PRS asymmetrical headstock. This Tekton SVN 7-String travels with an included PRS Premium gig bag.

A seven-string to swing with the very best of them, the PRS Tekton SVN is a hydra hungry for more.
