Description
The Radial JDI Stereo represents a breakthrough in passive stereo direct box technology, adeptly managing extreme signal levels while maintaining pristine clarity. Unlike its active counterparts constrained by buffer amplifier limitations, the JDI harnesses the power of dual Jensen audio transformers. These transformers not only balance signals but also reduce impedance for seamless transmission over lengthy cables—no power required, just plug and play.
Central to its prowess are the renowned Jensen transformers, renowned for gracefully handling transients while imparting a warm, smooth Bessel curve akin to vintage equipment. With a frequency response flat from 10Hz to 40kHz and minimal phase deviation, the JDI Stereo faithfully captures the instrument's natural essence, free from artifacts. Furthermore, the transformers not only convert unbalanced Hi-Z signals to low but also isolate inputs from outputs, effectively filtering out stray DC voltage that could otherwise introduce noise and ground loop issues. This ensures pristine audio transmission while mitigating potential disturbances.
