Description
What's that wonderful smell? Woody, nutty, even slightly sweet? Does it conjure images of a fresh guitar case, or does it remind you of that one time (or many times) you stuck your nose in the soundhole of a beautiful acoustic only to inhale deeply? This was the thought behind our second collaboration with the candle connoisseur, the sultan of scents, the wizard of wax, local Philly candle-pouring legend Uncle Ron. Introducing "Sinker Mahogany", a combination of mahogany robustness and sweet coconut, a scent that reminds us of the woody waft that emanates when we bust out our acoustics for an inspired session. Linger in that smell during a lengthy jam, and set the creative mood with the wick's warm glow.
Uncle Ron’s Candle Co. takes the candle craft to the next level. Uncle Ron’s is based in Port Richmond, a neighborhood in Philadelphia. Made with a soy wax blend, wooden wick and premium fragrances and essential oils, these small batch candles have a clean and long-lasting burn.
Candle Instructions
- The wick starts slightly extended, so it will need to burn a tad longer to get to the correct length. It may start to smoke, but that's part of the process.
- Once the wick reaches its proper level, it will burn out. Clean off the charred parts of the wood and re-light. A lower flame will be produced, but an hour of total burn time will break in the candle to its proper operation. Scented sessions are worth the wait!
- Rinse and repeat. Before each use, knock off the charred end and enjoy the scent of mahogany and coconut.
