Sterling Music Man Session Series StingRay 5 5-String Bass Guitar, Olympic White

Five strings, more fun! Introducing the Sterling Music Man Session Series StingRay 5 in Olympic White. Taking heavy influence from the StingRay models of the '90s and '00s, the Session series of instruments captures the spirit of those originals all while giving today's players some modern upgrades across the board.

The StingRay 5 is constructed from a double-cutaway poplar body and bolt-on roasted maple neck. The body sports an Olympic White gloss finish. Its body is stylized with chrome hardware and a 3-ply parchment pickguard. It's 34-inch scale length oil-and-wax roasted maple neck provides smooth feel and exceptional playability. The rosewood fingerboard is crowned with 21 frets. For its voice, the body is loaded with a single Music Man Session Humbucker with a 3-band active preamp and 3-way toggle switch. Made from Alnico 5 magnets, the pickup delivers a high output that is punchy and articulate while retaining clarity. The bass performs consistently thanks to its 4-saddle bridge, dual action truss rod, compensated nut, and Music Man Schaller open gear tuners. The StingRay 5 comes complete with its premium Music Man gig bag.

Whether it's on stage or in the studio, the Sterling Music Man Session Series StingRay 5 ready to become your new workhorse bass.
