Featuring a torrefied spruce top, ES2 electronics, and a Dark Tobacco burst top, there is a lot to be excited about here.

This 117e Grand Pacific gets its sloped shoulder body shape from a tonewood pairing of a torrefied spruce top and layered sapele back/sides. Supported by C-Class bracing, the guitar delivers a bold voice full of warm mid-range and depth with some clarity and snap thanks to the spruce top. The body's top sports a Dark Tobacco burst, black pickguard, black binding, and 3-ring rosette. Taylor's ES2 electronics system is installed inside the body and offers players control over volume, bass, and treble via the controls on the bass side shoulder.

Great playability matters just as much as looks – a slender mahogany neck is bolted to the body in traditional Taylor fashion. The neck is topped with a smoked eucalyptus fingerboard, crowned with 20 frets, and is accented with Italian acrylic dot inlays. D'Addario XS coated strings are loaded into the smoked eucalyptus bridge where they are capped, rest in the saddle and nut slots, and are tuned to pitch at the headstock with the chrome tuning machines. The 117e comes packed securely in a soft gig bag.
