With a body constructed entirely of select grade Hawaiian koa, the classic Taylor Grand Auditorium body shape suits up for an excellent musical experience. The striking visual patterns of the 724ce highlight the bright and interesting tonal character koa has to offer. This dazzling appearance matches koa's musical properties.
To build upon the Hawaiian koa body, fine Taylor materials contribute to the 724ce for an even richer musical experience. A Neo-Tropical mahogany neck fits firmly in the palm while a West African ebony fingerboard sits smoothly on the fingers. These classic Taylor materials ensure an excellent playing experience and a platform for the sounds of koa to come alive.
An ultra-thin matte finish treats the 724ce to a smooth feel in hand without inhibiting the natural Hawaiian koa voice. This finish makes the voicing of this Taylor slightly different from other koa Taylors with more punchy projection. In addition to the 724ce's body finish, appointments including new "Fountain" mother-of-pearl fret inlays, an Indian rosewood body binding treatment, and Taylor polished bronze tuners.
