Taylor's GS Mini-E Koa is crafted with a body constructed entirely of Hawaiian koa wood, renowned for its stunning aesthetics and tonal excellence, delivering bright and clear tones that resonate with unique character.
The neck of the GS Mini-E Koa is carved from sapele, featuring a 1-11/16" width and adorned with a West African Crelicam Ebony fretboard. The fretboard is tastefully appointed with 4mm Dot Italian Acrylic inlays, adding a touch of sophistication to the instrument's visual appeal. The Nubone Nut and Micarta Saddle contribute to the guitar's stable tuning and intonation. Inside the GS Mini-E Koa is a Taylor ES-B pickup system, that ensures the natural, pristine sound of the Koa body is accurately reproduced.
The specs of this GS Mini-E Koa showcase the attention to detail that defines Taylor: a scaled-down body has a width of 14 3/8", a length of 17 5/8", and a depth of 4 7/16", providing a comfortable and accessible playing experience. The 23-1/2" scale length creates a balanced feel across the fretboard, while the 20 frets offer space to explore.
The layered Koa back, finished with a varnish coating, showcases the natural beauty and grain of this Hawaiian tonewood, while a three-ring rosette adds visually. Designed for musicians on the go, the Taylor GS Mini-E Koa comes complete with a structured gig bag, providing secure and convenient mobility.
