This limited edition dreadnought brings on a number of features and specifications celebrating Taylor's five-decade history. Their Legacy Collection, a limited line of models refreshing and reviving classic Taylor specs, shows some of the best of what the name has to offer.

This limited Taylor Legacy edition lines up an impressive arrangement of specifications. Taking on a highly customized form in the Legacy Collection, this anniversary model is a knockout in every way. Beginning everything, this Legacy model starts with a deep tapered dreadnought body brought together from Engelmann spruce and Hawaiian koa. Two top-shelf tonewoods, Engelmann spruce and Hawaiian koa produce a masterful mix of radiant acoustic tones with a clean, natural finish with West African Crelicam ebony binding. These tonewoods are elevated by an alternative bracing pattern – in this case, Flat Scalloped Open X-Bracing.

A neo-tropical mahogany neck joins in here in a V Carve profile. This alternative take on Taylor neck profiles offers a smooth feel in the palm with a satin finish for quick moves from higher to lower registers. A West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard lays out with this neck for a comfortable and articulate fretting experience. Aesthetically, this board shines with Mother of Pearl and green abalone Artist inlays and West African Crelicam ebony binding.

Everything on this limited Legacy model is backed up by a sturdy hardware setup. A polished West African Crelicam ebony lands at the base of the shorter 24.875" scale length with a white micarta saddle. Towards the headstock, Gotoh 510 Antique Gold tuning machines and a white TUSQ nut stabilize stringing and intonation. A Taylor Deluxe Brown hardshell case travels with this limited Legacy model. This model is limited to fifty-two pieces worldwide with signed labels from Bob Taylor and Kurt Lustig.
