A stunningly simple, yet elegant Grand Theater shape houses Taylor’s C-Class bracing, which highlights bass frequencies and projection inside this compact body style. Indian Rosewood back and sides provide warmth and balance, looking rich-as-ever with gorgeous woodgrain. Its Sinker Redwood top has similar tonal properties to that of cedar, with warm overtones and a bold response. It also brings some other unique character to the table. You'll find that it allows for a little more headroom, offers a bit more brightness, and the reddish-brown color is captivating. Its slender neck is smooth and comfortable, and the 24 1/8” scale makes for easy trips up and down the with a West African Crelicam Ebony fretboard. Of course, it’s loaded with ES-2 electronics, ready to perform with you at any moment. This GT811e marks another fine addition to Taylor’s limited releases, blending in perfectly, yet standing out all on its own.
