Plenty of nuance comes baked in to this combo – literally and figuratively – with the spruce's torrefied quality, wherein it is heat treated to impart some simulated age and give it a lived-in tone usually reserved for much older guitars.

This model's voice owes to not only its heat treated top for its complex voice, but to Taylor's scalloped V-Class bracing pattern that bolsters projection and harmonic content.
