Description
The Teenage Engineering OB-4 is a high-tech piece of equipment designed for those who, like LL Cool J, can’t live without their radio.
An FM radio-enabled, high-fidelity, multi-purpose Bluetooth speaker, this sleek bit of tech from TE is a love letter to the audiophile seeking a reliable means of music. The OB-4 operates on a rechargeable battery that lasts for seventy-two hours of radio listening and forty hours of Bluetooth listening – ensuring the jams run free. Multi-functional connectivity allows for a range of uses as the OB-4 seamlessly connects to Bluetooth, FM signal and line-in sound sources – a standout feature being its unique tape dial that enables rewinding of live radio up to a two-hour record. The OB-4’s final mode, the experimental “Disk” mode, unlocks a collection of different functions to experience music differently for various activities. Use this mode as an ambient noise machine to turn any audio input into a relaxing soundscape with an optional sleep timer or use it as a mantra box while in meditation. Additional functionality of Disk mode includes a metronome capability with a classic 808 sound available, and a white noise generation capability. Designed for great deliverance of audio in any setting, the OB-4 is a multi-faceted sound machine in the most modern of senses.
