Description
Fresh from Universal Audio is the Evermore Studio Reverb stompbox. This pedal, derived from the Hall 224 algorithms found in UA's flagship Golden Reverberator, delivers three vintage digital reverbs in an incredibly compact pedal format.
Controls on the front of the Evermore are for modulation and mix, and three way toggle switch to select between Room, Small Hall, or Large Hall reverbs. Where the Evermore gets interesting are in its bass, middle, and treble controls. This is not an overall filter curve for the style of reverb, rather moreover an interactive style EQ that adjusts the decay of the selected reverb. The basic length of the reverb is set with the Mid knob, and low and high frequency decays are added or removed with the bass and treble knobs, respectively. Depending on the settings, self-oscillation may also occur!
On the back of the Evermore are a simple, single mono in and out, selectable true or buffered bypass, and selectable short/long Predelay option. On the side, UA equipped the Evermore reverb with USB-C connectivity. Via computer, the Evermore can speak with the UA Connect app for product registration and firmware updates.
For the sounds of vintage digital studio delay in a simple to use pedal format, check out the Universal Audio Evermore Studio Reverb.
