Universal Audio Volt 2 Gen 2 USB Audio Interface w/ Software Suite

Behold, the new generation of powerful audio recording has arrived. Acclaimed and awarded pro-audio favorite, Universal Audio, has unveiled their new line of powerful USB audio interfaces, offering the Volt 2 Gen 2 to artists and content creators looking to capture their sound efficiently and professionally. For utilization in studio setups and on the go, this computer, tablet, and mobile compatible interface is designed to traverse all avenues that necessitate pro-audio recording.

The new Volt 2 Gen 2 boasts two world-class inputs—two lines for XLR microphone inputs with 48V phantom power and two lines for Hi-Z instrument inputs—that are processed with detailed 32-bit / 192 kHz conversion, and treated by UAD's Tone Shaping preamp with three distinct character modes to intuitively provide professional polish to each track. The two inputs offer dedicated gain controls configurable with the full-color Smart Display, allowing for precise levels that effortlessly capture any source. Each input has also been graced with auto-gain and clip protection algorithms, ensuring every take is free of pesky digital distortion. As for outputs, the Volt 2 Gen 2 features two TRS monitor outputs with dedicated volume control, a studio-quality headphone output with its own volume control, as well as loopback functionality to mix live sources with your computer audio.

The greatest part about the Volt 2 Gen 2? It can go anywhere. Seriously—this bus-powered interface never requires a wall plug, and is put into use as soon as it's connected to your compatible computer, tablet, or mobile device. Even better, the Volt 2 Gen 2 provides UAD's LUNA digital audio workstation and 15+ plug-ins and virtual instruments for an instant studio setup.
