Description
With technology adapted from Yamaha's Montage series, the Yamaha MODX6 is a powerful and versatile synthesizer capable of creating a wealth of synthesized tones. The AWM2 sample and synthesis engine and an eight-operator FM-X engine live at the heart of the MODX6 for an authentic Yamaha synthesizer experience. Featuring 192 note total polyphony across sixty-one keys, the MODX6 is highly interactive and responsive from player to player. The unique Super Knob function allows players to interact with the MODX6 even more closely to control multiple parameters at one time. Along with being deeply interactive and technically responsive, Motion Control Synthesis puts power in the hands of the player to unify and control the AWM2 and FM-X sound engines for exceptionally expressive synthesized voices. The onboard digitally-recreated acoustic and electric instruments contribute to a synthesizer experience with range and power while Rhythm Pattern technology integrates percussion seamlessly into any performance. MIDI and USB connectivity unlock more options such as the ability to load data via USB flash drives or further integrated interaction through Mac or PC. The Yamaha MODX6 puts an expansive and authentic Yamaha synthesizer experience at the fingertips of any player for expressive sounds that cannot be missed.
