Yes, I did Google the definition of "emerald" because I didn't pay attention when we got to Mineralogy in middle school science class. It sure is one good looking gem, though. This ES-335 Big Block Retro is dressed to the nines in its flawless Emerald Green Metallic nitro finish, with ES-355 mother of pearl full block inlays. One of the shop's favorite limited releases from Gibson for 2018.
