Description
The Gretsch G5655TG Electromatic Center Block Jr. Single-Cut is truly something to behold—a deceptively compact instrument that delivers robust resonance, the perfect blend of size, function, and the iconic Gretsch sound.
This guitar's sonic character begins with an archtop laminated maple top combined with laminated maple back and sides, together creating full-bodied and harmonious tones. This structure is enhanced by a spruce center block bracing, a smart addition that boosts resonance while reducing feedback— an outstanding feature for high-gain applications.
The slender "U"-shaped neck comes with a 12" radius laurel fingerboard fitted with 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid "Neo-Classic Thumbnail" inlays, imparting that quintessential Gretsch aesthetic. The gold die-cast tuners and Graph Tech NuBone nut ensure tuning is a smooth and precise process.
Equipped with dual Black Top Broad'Tron pickups, the instrument delivers a wide spectrum of tones, from pristine clarity to raw aggression. Independent volume and tone controls provide extensive sound customization to accommodate any guitarist's demands.
Garbed in a glossy Single Barrel Burst finish, the Gretsch G5655TG makes a bold statement with its exquisite appearance that's certain to captivate any audience. This compact marvel offers superior playability, resonant tones, and the trademark Gretsch sound.
