Description
The Marshall 1960BX is a straightforward answer to a not-so-simple question: What does it take to get vintage tone and punch without overthinking it? Loaded with four 12" Celestion G12M-25 Greenback speakers, this cab is voiced to deliver that familiar midrange growl and creamy compression favored in classic rock and blues applications. Each speaker contributes 25 watts, resulting in a 100-watt total power handling capacity matched to a 16Ω input impedance—an ideal partner for vintage-style amp heads looking to keep things grounded in tradition.
This Marshall 1960BX keeps it dirt simple: one input, one job, done right. The closed-back design keeps the low-end tight, while the Greenbacks handle the upper mids and treble with the kind of musical breakup that rewards dynamic playing. Whether paired with a JTM45, Plexi-style head, or a modern interpretation of either, the 1960BX remains a go-to for players chasing that timeless British stack tone.
