In 1960, Russo Music was established on the sun porch of Lucy and Stephen Russo’s home on Broad Street, Trenton. Starting small, with used instruments and lessons, the business quickly found its rhythm, gradually claiming more and more of the Russo home as its own.

As demand grew, so too did Russo Music. By 1988, the business had outgrown the confines of the Russo home and moved to a purpose-built location on Arena Drive, which was further expanded in 1996 to accommodate the continued growth. Later in 2010, the business expanded with the launch of Russo Music Asbury Park and most recently again with Russo Music Philadelphia.

In 1972, we expanded our services to include school band instrument rentals, giving birth to our school rental and educational services division. Now, our Hamilton location is home to this division, providing full-service repairs for brass, woodwind, and string instruments.
