An assignable LFO modulation effect permeates the pedal's effects for deep tonal shaping, getting along to different textures of tremolo, delay, ring modulation, and much, much more.

Modern functions for playability include stereo input and output connections, a low-noise audio path, and thirty-two onboard preset slots. These functions, coupled with an auxiliary footswitch, expression connection, effect ramping, and selectable true or buffered bypass make the Syntax Error XP deeply playable in the moment as well as during the most intensive studio mad science.
