So, what exactly is a utility modulation pedal? We're so glad you asked (and you'll later also be so glad you asked). The Kilter V2 Features two send and returns for further pedal processing that is then modulated cohesively using Champion Leccy's beloved LFO circuit—beautifully lifted from their beloved Woozy and Skitter pedals. The result? Well, whatever you make of it. Slight chorusing of the two different feeds, sickening heavy-handed vibrato, or even an aggressive ring mod if you play your cards right. Randomness and chaos can be achieved through a plethora of waveform options—ramping, sine, saw, square—to make each use totally unique. Alternatively, the V2 jumps the FX loops when not utilized to allow the pedal's modulation effects to shine independent of the send and return function.

As for the controls, they're simpler than you may expect. There are two volume knobs for each loop, with a switch to flip the phase of loop A when it's desired (this is how you achieve glitchy cancelling and ring mod tones). The "space" knob controls modulation depth while the "time" control manages the LFO speed. Both of these parameters have dedicated expression ins for further, well, expression. Additionally, the tap tempo can also dictate the speed of the modulation. As mentioned before, there is a waveform selector to cycle through different LFO shapes for endless creativity.
