Belew, close collaborator of rock legends Frank Zappa, David Bowie, and the Talking Heads, colored outside the lines with the bucket brigade modulating sweetness of the EHX Echoflanger. Today's Adrian Belew Echoflanger revives the design of the since-discontinued Echoflanger with all the warbly, warped modulation tones Belew slung across the '70s and '80s.

The Adrian Belew Echoflanger Reissue pays tribute to the Electro-Harmonix Echoflanger, a model that evolved into the EHX Polyflange and Polychorus. This limited-edition model replicates the original design of an '80s-era model with a few bells and whistles classically Belew. The Echoflanger's original four effect modes reappear with this signature model including Filter Matrix, Flange, Chorus, and Slap Back. Two new modes, Slap Back + Filter Matrix and Flanger + Chorus (Belew's signature), combines the fixed comb filter and slap delay echo of the Echoflanger and Belew's signature "in-between" chorus and filter setting. Back in the day, Belew's tinkering with his Echoflanger brought him to a unique mix of chorus and flange placing the Mode knob in between the Chorus and Flange modes. Today, the setting receives its own dedicated position on the Mode dial.

New additions to the Echoflanger in this signature edition include functions like a two-way Blend switch – keeping a clean signal mix or zeroing it out – stereo output connections, a true bypass footswitch, and standard power requirements with an included power supply.
