Two classic Gibson specs for a Les Paul, these elements are elevated with modern updates including the mahogany's nine-hole weight relief treatment and the top's two-piece plain maple quality. Together, these features make for a Les Paul comfortable slung over the shoulder and beaming with personality from its rich mahogany midrange to its top-end maple chirp. Multi-ply top and back binding wraps this deep, black Les Paul Custom with that classic, clean white geometric accent.

From here, this Modern Collection Les Paul Custom brings the thunder. A long-scale mahogany neck extends out from this guitar's body, assuming a Modern Medium "C" profile. This neck, allowing the guitar's scale length to reach to a nontraditional 25.5", offers a foundational change in the Les Paul playing experience across its twelve-inch radius, bound ebony fingerboard. Twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets land across this board with Mother of Pearl block inlays throughout.
