Starting with classic Gibson tenets but bending from tradition, the mahogany body features nine-hole weight relief to reduce overall mass and enhance comfort slung over the shoulder. What's more, its maple cap measures up to a great AA quality with light figuring to elevate its overall presentation and top-end chirp. Single-ply binding wraps this body for a cool, geometric accent in a crisp white rather than the traditional cream.

From here, this Modern Collection Les Paul introduces a mahogany neck carved to a comfortable Medium C profile – not too thick, not too thin. Moving from lower to higher registers with this neck is a breeze alongside its one-piece rosewood fingerboard lined with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets.
