Everything here starts with a solid mahogany cut shaped to the iconic Les Paul single-cutaway form. This mahogany is topped with a carved two-piece plain maple cap to enhance brightness and top-end chirp. Wrapped in an authentic gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, this deep black Les Paul Custom shines with a cool shade.

Reaching out, this Gibson Custom piece brings on a mahogany neck. Additionally decked in nitrocellulose lacquer, this neck offers a classic feel in the palm moving from higher to lower registers. This mahogany neck pairs up with an ebony fingerboard lined with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Perfect for a great balance of space and articulation, this board measures to a fast twelve-inch radius and is lined with Mother of Pearl block inlays.

Sonically, this Custom comes to life with two crisp humbuckers. A Gibson 490R in the neck and 498T in the bridge coalesce for a punchy, warm profile on every level.
