Description

The Gretsch Jim Dandy Parlor is a throwback to the iconic mail-order "Rex" line of instruments popular in the 1930s-50s but with a modern twist. This compact parlor guitar pairs a laminated basswood body with a short scale 12-fret design for a warm sounding, easy to play guitar that's great for songwriting, travel, or the occasional jam.

The X-braced body keeps things together while preserving the woody tone that vintage parlors are known for. The nato "C" shape neck and walnut fingerboard feature white pearloid dot markers, while a compensated bridge saddle and synthetic bone nut serve to keep intonation and tuning stability solid.

Complete with open gear tuners, a classic "G" on the 1-ply pickguard, painted pinstripe purfling, and the semi-gloss Rex Burst finish, this parlor makes you feel as good as it looks.
