Gretsch's Professional Collection introduces this Broadkaster Jr. LX – a smaller-scaled version of some of the brand's most famous big-bodied semi-hollows. Carrying with it a bold, resonant voice and plenty of classy features along the way, this Broadkaster Jr. LX begins with a semi-hollow body built from laminated flame maple. This light, bright, and rich tonewood makes up the entirety of the body with aged white binding wrapping its edges. The body's Gretsch Channel Core center block is made from a combination of spruce and maple for a faster attack and a bump up in the midrange, along with eliminating natural feedback from the semi-hollow design.

Reaching out, this Broadkaster features a maple neck in a Standard "U" profile. This fuller profile slips right in the palm with a gloss finish for quick moves up and down the full scale. An ebony fingerboard matches with this guitar with smooth, rolled edges and pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays. The board's twelve-inch radius lays things out for a speedy feel about the Medium Jumbo-sized frets.

For its voice, this Professional Collection features a duo of Pro Twin Six humbucking pickups. These humbuckers drop in with a more modern voice with plenty of kick behind them for filling a room, driving an amp, stealing a stage. Fitted with a treble bleed circuit and Squeezebox capacitor for retaining treble signal even when adjusting volume controls. This Broadkaster is backed up by a sturdy hardware setup of a GraphTech TUSQ XL nut, Gotoh locking tuning machines, an Adjusto-Matic bridge, and its pièce de résistance, its Bigsby B7GP String-Thru tailpiece. Ready for dropping expressive vibrato bends in playing, this tailpiece, nut, and tuner combo all align for a solid playing experience at every turn. This Broadkaster Jr. LX comes with an included Gretsch deluxe hardshell case.
