The JHS Overdrive Preamp takes heavy inspiration from a classic, the DOD Overdrive Preamp 250. The unique 1970s creation lives on today with striking accuracy for players seeking out a reliable and expressive effect experience. Perfect for any fan of smooth and laidback preamp boost to hefty overdriven distortion, the JHS Overdrive Preamp can do it all. Two dials and two modes make the Overdrive Preamp streamlined, interactive, and great for straight-to-amp setups or busy pedalboards.
The Overdrive Preamp's Level and Gain knobs work closely to allow players to dial in the right amount of boost or breakup at any volume. Additionally, a two-way toggle switch gives the Overdrive Preamp a brighter, more boosted tone when clicked up. Clicked down and the Overdrive Preamp remains tonally closer to the DOD original. Any way the Overdrive Preamp is dialed in, it works to supplement and enhance your individual tone.
