Released 32 years ago, Green Day's Dookie took the world by storm and has since inspired generations of guitar players to uncover Billie Joe Armstrong's distinctive tone on the album – raw, aggressive, and punchy, but with the right blend of clarity and definition. Originally recorded with a pair of 2 heavily modified Marshall 1959 Super Leads, it wasn't long before Billie Joe got his own pair of modded Marshalls for himself. That setup quickly became his ride or die rig – so much so, that he still uses those amps in the studio and on stage to this day. For the first time ever, Green Day fans and punk rockers alike can harness the iconic Dookie-era sound with the Marshall 1959BJA Billie Joe Armstrong Signature 100-Watt head. Welcome to Paradise.

The 1959BJA shares a lot of the same DNA as the standard 1959 model, but features modifications to deliver its signature sound. Under the hood, modifications were made to the circuit to offer more gain, body, and enhanced low mids – perfect for thrashing out power chords and standing out in the mix. Cosmetically speaking, the 1959BJA sports a Baby Blue finish with silver accent piping inspired by Billie's equally iconic Strat-style guitar "Blue." The normal "JMP" lettering has been swapped for "BJA" and a custom badge displaying BJA's signature and Dookie logo are visible on the top left corner. The back panel displays Billie's signature as well. On the front panel, you'll find PRESENCE, BASS, MIDDLE, TREBLE, GAIN, and MASTER controls as well as low/high inputs to plug into. The amp comes accompanied with a signed COA.
