Description

Eric Clapton, a guitarist almost synonymous with the instrument itself, played an MTV Unplugged special in 1992. One of the main guitars in the performance was a 1966 Martin 000-28 with modified appointments. That guitar was created to capture that essence in a production model instrument with the 000-28EC – a Sitka Spruce, Indian Rosewood Orchestra model acoustic with the backing of a guitar legend following it. Open the case and be immediately greeted with the aroma of Nitrocellulouse lacquer and some of the finest selected tonewoods. Visually, be struck back by the 000-28EC's Herringbone-bound top, full gloss finish, and jet-black Ebony fingerboard. Pick it up, and this Martin's modified V neck profile has a comfortable, full fit in the player's hand – which is beneficial because anyone will not want to put this guitar down. Sonically, the 000-28EC has a professional projection and fundamental low end – well suited for fingerstyle playing and flatpicking alike. Carry the tone and legacy of a guitar icon and company with the Martin 000-28EC.
