Delivering on some real famous compression tones, the MXR Dyna Comp Bass Compressor is a fast lane to exciting and intuitive bass compression. Designed around the original CA3080 "metal can" integrated circuit, this pedal from MXR packs a real, compressed punch for excellent compressed tonality.
The classic "metal can" circuit design drops in on this pedal for its quiet operation, superior transparency and expanded dynamic range. Four parameter controls and a two-way Attack switch open up a wide field for interactivity and expression. Classic compression output and sensitivity dials offer up quick points of entry to the compression equation while Clean and Tone control dials allow for added tonal customization. The Dyna Comp Bass Clean control allows for players to mix in their unaffected signal to retain low end integrity while the Tone control adjusts the pedal's upper midrange. Between these two additions, the Dyna Comp Bass is thoroughly adjustable to one's own setup and taste.
