Announced at NAMM '25, the Mythos Argo Boost Deluxe takes the vintage-inspired tones of the original Argo and ups the ante with a few new tricks. The pedal was designed in collaboration with Mick Taylor (That Pedal Show), who was a vocal proponent of using the Argo purely as a clean boost. Now, players can access that uncompromised volume lift at the tap of a switch or combine it with the pedal’s signature octave-up fuzz. Inspired by classic C.O.B.-style circuits, the Argo Boost Deluxe offers a pronounced upper-octave character, an effect that truly shines above the ninth fret—particularly with a neck pickup. A dedicated clean blend knob ensures just the right amount of clarity, allowing the direct signal to remain present even under heavier fuzz settings.
