Description
Roland's chops with drum machines are legendary, but far from legend. Punch into the TR-8S and see generations of drum machine magic come to life.
Capturing a full Roland drum machine experience, the TR-8S brings together generations of Roland drum sounds together into one module for musicians of today. These sounds run the gamut from modern-day hi-fi beats to vintage Roland drum modules and everything in between. Hook the TR-8S up and get producing your own modern or classic sounding beats with deep Roland expression and interactivity. Roland TR and FM sounds come to life with the TR-8S for vibrant and lush tones in addition to a wealth of onboard mono and stereo samples. Hands-on manipulation of all sounds shape and warp the TR-8S to your liking.
Sixteen TR-REC buttons and a velocity-sensitive performance pad get you in on punching in rhythms and beats. Intricate motions, grooves, accents, and sub-steps are all within the TR-8S's range for adding extra layers of character and nuance to your sequences.
Eight analog outputs ready this machine for live performance. Streamlined to easily fit into your live setup or studio, the TR-8S comes alive to introduce Roland tones into any set or project. When set up in the studio, the TR-8S can be used as a complete multi-channel audio and MIDI interface. Connecting the TR-8S to a computer opens access to transfer MIDI and high-resolution over a single USB cable. Desktop connectivity also expands into the TR-8S's own software with the TR-EDITOR, an on-screen editor and librarian. Managing all your customized kits and sounds has never been easier.
Stylish and powerful with a wealth of sounds to back it up, the TR-8S is the next evolution in Roland drum machines. Take it for a spin and see history in action.
